“I try to live a greener life by carrying a travel mug or water bottle; I shouldn’t have to worry that I am endangering my health by using containers made with BPA. When I open a tin of tomatoes or tuna from the store, I am concerned that the inside of the can may be coated with chemicals that aren’t safe for my body. This needs to stop! Congress needs to change the law so that the products we buy in stores are tested and don’t contain chemicals that make us sick.”
