It is so scary that we are bombarded with toxic chemicals on a daily basis that have never been tested. I remember that smell of a new baby doll or plastic shower curtain when I was young. I loved it and breathed it in. That was PVC and I hope my daughter never has the chance to do the same.

My mother, brother and I all have Type 1 diabetes. Is it a result of BPA, PVC, or other chemicals we were exposed to? As an Interior Designer, I struggle to find acceptable residential materials that are not treated with flame retardants and stuffed with toxic foam, or finished with solvents that release VOC’s.

Please help to protect our families. The manufacturers of these products are not self-policing and the consumers are in so many cases, unaware and being harmed.
